    • It isn't mandatory for browsing.

    • But for posting content, appointments, reviews, ratings, fidelity points, socialising and interacting you will need one.

  • Q: Can I sign up/login with other social accounts?

    • For personal users(YES), you can use your Facebook or Google accounts.

    • For business users(NO), we need an email and password.

  • Q: I have trouble signing in using my Facebook or Google account.

    • For this type of authentication we rely on third-party services.

    • If they do not work please use the emailed password provided by us when you first registered. And retry the third-party login at a later time.

  • Q: When sharing content on Facebook the image or text isn't displayed.

    • For this type of sharing we rely on third-party services.

    • If this happens to you try and share for a second time the same content. Facebook uses their own crawler to read the page that will be shared.

  • Q: How do I add my promo code?

    • Login into your account.

    • Go to the Settings page.

    • Click on the [Add Promo Code] button and add the code.

  • Q: Only businesses with accounts are on Saloonite?

    • No. You can also find businesses that don't have accounts, but information and interaction is limited.

  • Q: What is popularity?

    • It is a score that will show everyone how popular you are on Saloonite. It is influenced by reviews, rankings, your employees reputation and overall user interaction.

  • Q: Saloonite.com is not in my native language.

    • Don't worry, multi-language support will come soon.

    • Besides, we like a book for the pictures only, right?

  • Q: What is the "Account Type" field

    • If you plan to offer other users the possibility to make appointments for your services on our website, select the "Appointments & Services" account type.

    • If you plan to just post content and have nothing to do with appointments, select "Standard" account type.

  • Q: What is the "Show Map" field

    • It adds a map of your location on the public page. The location is taken from the "Location" field. Unless you are a business, we recommend you set a broad area(Country or City only!).

  • Q: What is the "Impressions" field?

    • If you want to receive ratings and reviews and let others see them, select "Activate Reviews".

    • You can deactivate them at anytime and reactivate them later using the same field. No reviews will be lost because of it.

  • Q: Will more features come to Saloonite?

    • In this exact time that you read these lines, I assure you that we are already working to add more of them.

  • Q: What is the "Facebook moderator" in my "Set your social accounts"?

    • It is the designated user to moderate the Facebook comments on your public profile.

    • If it is enabled, a "Facebook comments" area will be displayed at the bottom of your public profile page.

    • You can choose to work as a self-employed professional.

    • You can make and administer your appointments.

    • You can view your entire schedule(from many different places where you work) with real-time appointments tracking.

    • You can apply for job opportunities.

    • Your clients can find you easily even if you change your employer or location.

    • You can publish on social networks your received reviews so others will know that you are a talented professional.

  • Q: Can I make appointments without an account?

    • No, an account is mandatory for making appointments on Saloonite.com.

  • Q: Where do I pay?

    • Directly at the business location where you have your appointment. Saloonite.com does not ask for money and this will be the responsibility of the business.

    • We are working to implement online payment in the near future.

  • Q: Can I give reviews and ratings without making an appointment?

    • Yes you can. But only reviews that are follow-ups to an actual appointment will have the "Saloonite Trusted review" logo.

    • We know this is a major issue on other platforms so we made this feature in order to accurately identify (100%) trustworthy reviews and diminish as much as possible any potential misleading information.

  • Q: Can I cancel my appointment?

    • Yes, and we recommend you do so in a timely manner. Otherwise you might get penalized.

  • Q: Can I give ratings to Professionals as well?

    • Professionals are as important as the businesses, so yes, you will be able to rate or review them.

  • Q: How do I get fidelity points?

    • Simply make appointments at businesses that allow development of customer loyalty. Please check the business page or ask them directly.

  • Q: Can I use my fidelity points?

    • Yes you can, but this depends on the business as well. Please check the business page or ask them directly.

  • Q: What are the advantages of fidelity status?

    • Special prices and special promotions just for you, because you are a loyal customer.

  • Q: What do I get in return for fidelity status?

    • You will get even more points. Based on your fidelity points you can have one of the three fidelity statuses: Bronze, Silver, Gold.

  • Q: What do I have to do after selecting the "self-employeed" option?

    • Create great content on your public profile.

        • Add Services.

        • Add your schedule (this step will create your schedule for potential appointments).

  • Q: What is the difference between the Business and Personal account?

    • The main difference is that Business accounts use one or more employees to offer the services.

    • A personal account either offers his services as a self-employed professional or he can work as an employee at one or more businesses ... or both :)

        • If you have a company with employees... then you need a business account.

    • Yes you can, by using the upgrade account in your profile tab. BUT REMEMBER, THIS ACTION CANNOT BE UNDONE!!!

  • Q: What photos/videos can I upload to help my gallery?

    • Any photos/videos that show your great work and have a safe content. Remember that users will be greatly influenced by your previous work and we recommend you to update your portfolio regularly with your best work.

  • Q: Can I work at more than one place?

    • Yes and your entire schedule will be available in your home page.

  • Q: Do I also have a schedule?

    • Yes, your schedule is very similar to the business one. Here you can view all your appointments.

  • Q: Can I ask for a day off or holiday request?

    • Yes, and if approved by the business, the work schedule will be updated accordingly.

  • Q: Can I add myself as an employee to a business?

    • No, only business accounts can add/remove users on the team.

  • Q: Can I cancel a client appointment?

    • Yes, employees can also cancel the appointments. For security reasons the business will be informed about your decision.

  • Q: How many categories can I use for my account?

    • As many as you desire. However we strongly recommend using just the ones that classify your activity. Otherwise searches for you may not be that precise.

  • Q: My business doesn't work with Saloonite's type of appointments or services...what now?

    • The "Appointments & Services" account type is a beta version and we agree that it has it's limitations. Until we develop more account types please do this:

    • 1. Select the "Standard" account type.

    • 2. Email us with your business activity type and how it works.

    • 3. Wait for us to implement it and continue posting great content while waiting.

  • Q: What do I have to do after creating a Business account?

    • Complete your business details.

    • Create great content on your public profile.

    • Add team members if you like... or explore the Saloonite.com options.

  • Q: What is the difference between the Business and Personal account?

  • Q: How can I claim a business?

    • First, create a business account.

    • Then, you can use the claim business button and follow the steps. An SMS/Call will follow soon to confirm you are the user.If you don't find the business then just create a new business user.

  • Q: If I claim my business what will happened to my reviews and ratings?

    • All your reviews and ratings are saved and visible after you claim the business.

  • Q: Can I add only registered users?

    • You can also add users that do not want to have accounts on Saloonite. Just hit the "this employee does not want an account". However, we recommend using registered users. Otherwise, they will lose their popularity if they decide to register at a later time. They also give more credibility to your business.

    • You can ask them to register just for this purpose only.

  • Q: Why after adding an employee he is greyed out?

    • Registered employees have to accept in their notifications tab that they now work at your business. After they accept, they will also be visible on the public page

  • Q: What are concurrent appointments for employees?

    • Concurrent appointments solve the problem when an employee can work simultaneously with more than one customer by eliminating the "dead time" when, for example, he is waiting for the hair dye to take effect.

    • REMEMBER THAT THEESE LIMITATIONS APPLY ONLY FOR CUSTOMERS AND NOT WHEN YOU, AS A BUSINESS, CREATE APPOINTMENTS!

    • To enable concurrent appointments you have to increase the "Maximum concurrent appointments" to a value greater than "1". We recommend to use a value greater than "1" only when you are certain that the employee can handle that many customers at a time.

    • This will enable the "Time between concurrent appointments" field. This is used to set a time interval between the concurrent appointments.

    • For the example above, this will allow the employee to receive a maximum of 2 clients at a time with a minimum of 15min interval between the start of each appointment.

  • Q: How many categories can I use for my Business account?

    • As many as you desire. However we strongly recommend using just the ones that classify your activity. Otherwise, searches for you may not be that precise.

  • Q: We have a promotion type that is not covered on Saloonite.com, what can we do?

    • Simply use the "Custom promotion" and you will fulfil it directly when the customer arrives for the appointment. We also recommend emailing us with what we are missing.

  • Q: My category is not on Saloonite.com list, what can I do?

    • You can use the "Others" activity domain that we provided, and we recommend emailing us with what we are missing.

  • Q: Can I use my business account to make appointments or interact in any way with other business?

    • Although you can search, contact and interact with other businesses, you CANNOT make appointments as a business user.

  • Q: Can I cancel an appointment?

    • Yes. Also remember that you can mark an appointment as "No Show" if the client didn't arrive or did not cancel on time. He will also get penalized 10% from all his fidelity points.

    • Also remember that your employees can also cancel or mark the appointments as Show/NO Show.

  • Q: Can I create appointments and classes outside employees working area?

    • Yes, as a business you can bypass the employee working intervals and create an appointment or class anywhere.

  • Q: How do I create a class?

    • First, check the class option when creating the service.

    • The next step is to add an employee. Here you have the option to add an employee that holds only classes or a mixture of classes and regular appointments...your choice.

    • Final step, is to go in the Schedule tab and click the area where you want the class to be created. More customization options will be available there.

  • Q: Saloonite.com is only in English... is it for my business?

    • Yes it is. We already list millions of businesses from all over the world.So just enter your location (e.g. 청담동 , 75-1 강남구 청담동 , 서울, 한국 or Cheongdam, 75-1 Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, South Korea), time zone and currency in your profile.
